ANALISIS MODEL ZMIJEWSKI (X-SCORE) UNTUK MEMPREDIKSI KONDISI FINANCIAL DISTRESS PADA BANK UMUM SYARIAH DI INDONESIA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the prediction of the Zmijewski x-score model in deciding the financial distress conditions of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for 2018-2022. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, namely research used to determine the value of a variable. The data analysis model used is the Zmijewski Model (X-Score). The sampling method uses purposive sampling, namely with certain criteria. The type of data used in this study is secondary data with documentation techniques from the official website of the Financial Services Authority, namely www.ojk.go.id. The sample in this study is Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the OJK. The data used is the financial statements of Islamic Commercial Banks for 2018-2022. The results of the study show that the calculation of financial distress predictions in Islamic commercial banks for the 2018-2022 period using the Zmijewski Model shows that in 2018 two companies were experiencing financial difficulties, namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Aladin Syariah with values ​​​​of 0.61872 and 26.1966. at the same time, the other six banks are in a healthy condition (non-distress). In 2019 and 2020, only one company experienced (distress), namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia with a value of 0.79464. While seven companies are healthy (non-distress). In 2021, four banks experienced (distress), namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia at 0.90356, Bank Panin Dubai Syariah at 30.71616, Bank Syariah Bukopin at 19.4852, and Bank Aladin Syariah at 35.573. while the other four banks are in good condition (non-distress). In 2022, three banks were experiencing (distress), namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia at 0.47384, Bank Syariah Bukopin at 1.1482, and Bank Aladin Syariah at 45.238. While the other five companies are in good condition (non-distress).
